BRIDGEPORT — Six Bridgeport restaurants are teaming up for a taco night this week.
Taco night is 5:30-9 p.m. Thursday at Antique Taco, 1000 W. 35th St.
Taco E, Kimski, Freddie’s, Punky’s Pizza and Pasta and Duck Inn will have booths serving tacos for the event alongside Antique Taco, according to an event listing.
The evening also will feature cocktails and a DJ.
A family-run business founded in 2012, Antique Taco specializes in tacos and margaritas with ingredients made from scratch and often sourced from local farms. Taco E, 3267 S. Halsted St., has been a Bridgeport fixture since 1967, serving up classic Mexican dishes in its fast-casual setting.
Kimski, 954-960 W. 31st St., specializes in Korean-Polish fusion dishes, with a menu featuring pierogies and locally produced tteok-bokki, or Korean rice cakes.
Freddie’s, 701 W. 31st St., and Punky’s, 2600 S. Wallace St., are traditional, family-owned Italian spots with a combined decades of history in the neighborhood.
Duck Inn, a retro-inspired tavern at 2701 S. Eleanor St., will round out the lineup with duck-inspired dishes.
