LAKEVIEW — You can enjoy an art sale, live performances and family activities this weekend along Lincoln Avenue in Lakeview.
The free Lincoln Roscoe Fall Art and Craft Fair is 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday-Sunday on Lincoln Avenue between Roscoe and School streets. The event will feature a variety of art, including paintings, sculptures, ceramics, jewelry and fashion, according to organizers.
There will also be live music, food and artistic activities for kids hosted by local businesses. Friendly dogs are welcome if they are on leashes.
Attendees can take a free yoga class at 9 a.m. at Free Mvmnt Shop, 3345 N. Lincoln Ave.
Admission is free, but visitors are encouraged to bring gently used wall art so it can be donated to the Chicago Furniture Bank, a nonprofit that distributes furniture and art to people moving out of shelters and into permanent housing.
Several artists will donate a portion of their profits to Make-A-Wish Illinois through Amdur Productions’ Green Ribbon Project.
