Sweater Weather Hits Chicago This Weekend — Except For A Brief Saturday Warmup

Fall weather is here for the next few days, with a few chances for rain.

CHICAGO — Fall is sweeping into Chicago this weekend, with cooler temperatures expected — though there will be a brief warmup Saturday.

Besides Saturday’s warm spell, chillier weather is expected through at least Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service. There is also a chance for sporadic rainfall this weekend.

Friday will be breezy, with a high of 64 degrees expected and a chance for light showers, according to the weather agency. 

Temperatures will rise Saturday, with a high of 73 degrees expected, according to the National Weather Service. There is a chance for showers Saturday afternoon and night.

Things will cool off again Sunday, with a high of 68 degrees expected. There is a chance for showers and thunderstorms Sunday night, according to the weather agency. 

Monday is expected to see similar weather, with a high of 66 degrees and mostly sunny skies, according to the weather agency.
