GOOSE ISLAND — Two acres of Goose Island will be turned this week into a fall-themed park including a pumpkin patch, corn maze, pop-up bars and more.
Jack’s Pumpkin Pop-Up, 1265 W. Le Moyne St., opens Thursday and runs through Oct. 31. Tickets are available online.
The grounds will be filled with installations to take photos with, three “boo-zy bars” with seasonal beers and specialty fall cocktails, plus fall activities for people of all ages.
In between throwing axes, mining gems, meeting fortunetellers and finding your way out of the corn maze, you can wander a field of more than 10,000 pumpkins to find the perfect one to take home and carve, organizers said.
This is the fifth year for Jack’s Pumpkin Pop-Up. It was created by WeLovePopUps, a group that’s designed seasonal pop-ups throughout the city, including Big City Ranch, Frosty’s Christmas Bar and Jack Frost Winter Village.
