2 Teens Injured In Little Village Hit-And-Run, Police Say

Two 15-year-olds were crossing the street on scooters when the driver of a black car hit them and left the scene, police said. Both girls were hospitalized in good condition.

LITTLE VILLAGE — Two teenage girls were injured Monday night after a hit-and-run driver struck them in a Little Village crosswalk, police said.

The crash occurred around 8:08 p.m. in the 2800 block of South Kedzie Avenue, police said.

The two girls, both 15, were riding scooters in the crosswalk when the driver of a black car heading south hit them, police said.

The teens had scrapes and bruises from the crash and were taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, police said.

The car left the scene following the incident and no one is in custody as of Tuesday, police said. No other description of the car was immediately available.
