CHICAGO — Sunshine and warm weather are coming to Chicago over the long holiday weekend.
Friday is set to hit 89 degrees and be mostly sunny, though there could be wind with gusts up to 20 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
Saturday will start sunny, and it could warm up to 81 degrees. But there’s a chance for rain showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon, with wind gusts up to 20 mph possible.
Sunday will be mostly sunny. The day will cool down, with a high of 75 degrees expected, according to the National Weather Service.
Monday, which is Labor Day, will see similar weather, with temperatures expected to top out at 76 degrees and mostly sunny skies predicted, according to the weather agency.
