Empirical Brewery Transforming Into Lego Pop-Up With More Than 1 Million Bricks

The pop-up will be decorated with Lego sculptures, but the real draw is the thousands of Lego pieces that customers can use to build their own creations.

The Brick Bar, 1801 W. Foster Ave., will be decorated with plenty of Lego sculptures, including a wishing well and pingpong table built from Legos.

RAVENSWOOD — Lego fans can get their fill of the plastic bricks — and beer — during a pop-up in September.

Empirical Brewery, 1801 W. Foster Ave., will transform into The Brick Bar Sept. 9-10, with more than 1 million Lego bricks.

The pop-up will be decorated with Lego sculptures, but the real draw is the thousands of Lego pieces that customers can use to build their own creations. The best builders have a chance to win prizes.

People of all ages can stop by to play during the day, but only those 21 and older can stick around after 6 p.m.

There will be music from local DJs, building competitions with prizes, a Lego wishing well and a Lego ping-pong table.

Tickets cost $22, though children 5 and younger get in for free. People can book their visits online
