You Can Remember The ’80s And ’90s During A Themed Youth Skate In Auburn Gresham

There will be food, drinks, raffles and school supplies for youth while supplies last.

AUBURN GRESHAM — A South Side community group is hosting a skating party for local youth Saturday. 

City Motivators, a nonprofit focused on serving youth and underserved communities, is inviting the community to its Chi Youth ‘80s vs. ‘90s Skating Party 3:30-6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Martin Luther King Jr. Park and Family Entertainment Center, 1219 W. 76th St.

Attendees are strongly encouraged to dress in fashion from the ’80s and ’90s, organizers said online. Atendees can bring skates from home or rent them from the rink.

There will be food, drinks, raffles and school supplies for youth while supplies last.

Tickets are $15 for youth 5-17 years old and $20 for those 18 and older. They can be bought online.
