BRIDGEPORT — Bacon bun lovers, rejoice: The owner of closed Bridgeport Bakery 2.0 is accepting orders online.

The beloved bakery at 2907 S. Archer Ave. closed last month due to financial and legal issues. Owner Can Lao has launched a GoFundMe, hoping to pay bills that would allow him to reopen.

In the meantime, Lao is accepting online orders for the bakery’s goods, including its famed bacon buns, birthday cakes and pastries.

People who want to order a bacon bun can do so online. Those who wish to place an order for another item must email bridgeportbakeryorder@gmail.com, Lao wrote in a Facebook post.

Pickups are Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays by appointment.
