Chatham Walgreens Hosting Kids COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic Friday

Children can visit the pop-up clinic 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at 11 E. 75th St.

CHATHAM — A pediatric clinic is popping up on the South Side this week.

Walgreens is hosting a special, one-day-only pediatric vaccine event 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday at its Chatham location, 11 E. 75th St.

Appointments are required. The vaccine is free and a parent or legal guardian must be present. You can schedule an appointment here.

Children can get vaccinated at Walgreens, Walgreens, 11 E 75th Street, 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday.

The announcement comes days after Chicago Public Schools declared Friday “Vaccination Awareness Day.”

Students ages 5 and older are encouraged to get vaccinated at their pediatrician’s office, at a healthcare provider or community event. You can find a list of other vaccine events here.
