DOWNTOWN — The city is hosting a Veterans Day ceremony Thursday at Soldier Field.

The event will honor people who served in the military. Doors will open at 10 a.m. and the ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. Attendees can enter through Gate O at Soldier Field, 1410 S. Special Olympics Drive, according to a city flier.

The ceremony is free and open to the public. The dress code is business attire or service dress uniforms. 

Those driving to the venue can get free parking at the Waldron Deck Parking Structure, accessed by exiting on 18th Street off of DuSable Lake Shore Drive.
