LINCOLN PARK — Once again, The Wiener’s Circle surprised its customers with a Halloween costume for the whole store.

The hot dog stand, 2622 N. Clark St., overhauled the restaurant’s sign, interior and staff uniforms in a tribute to “The Simpsons.” The restaurant chose “McDowell’s” and “Goatbusters” as its costume in previous years.

The storefront was decorated as the iconic Krusty Burger, while the back of the stand turned into Moe’s Tavern. The staff dressed up as Homer, Bart, Ned Flanders, Patty, and Selma.

The menu was adapted to offer Simpson-themed options, from Krusty burgers to Duff Beer.

Two dollars from every beer went to the Sam Simon Foundation, launched by “The Simpsons” creator, which trains hearing, service and companion dogs.
