People can get the grocery pack 2:30-4:30 p.m. Monday at 3857 S. King Drive.
No identification is required, and COVID-19 safety guidelines will be followed. Another giveaway at the suburban Crystal Lake Mariano’s is scheduled for Tuesday.
Mariano’s is partnering with Major League Baseball star Curtis Granderson and the Greater Chicago Food Depository to give away 1,500 bags of groceries to families in need this holiday season.
Mariano’s shoppers also will be able to give back all month through “Help Out At Check Out,” where they can donate to the Greater Chicago Food Depository at any location.
