Halloween Event With Costume Contests For Kids Set For Saturday In Humboldt Park

The day will feature food, pumpkins, music, and prizes for kids with the best costumes.

HUMBOLDT PARK — Humboldtween in the Park is set for this weekend — and kids can get candy and win a prize for their costumes.

The event runs 1-4 p.m. Saturday at the Humboldt Park Fieldhouse, 1400 N. Humboldt Drive. There will be music, food, candy and pumpkins, as well as costume contests for kids 0-5 and 6-12.

​​The event is free. It’s being organized by the Humboldt Park Advisory Council.

The organizers are still looking for volunteers. To apply, you can fill out this form online.
