LOGAN SQUARE — ALIVE Rescue is hosting a billiards night to raise money for animals in need of homes.

The no-kill animal rescue and shelter is hosting Rack Em’ Up For Rescues 6:30-9:30 p.m. Nov. 4 at Surge Billiards, 3716 W. Fullerton Ave.

The event offers two playing options for $35 a ticket: Participants can play for fun, or they can play in a tournament where a prize is awarded to the top player. Both options allow for two and a half hours of table time

A $15 ticket is available for people who want to attend the event but don’t want to play. All ticket options include a vegetarian and vegan buffet, according to a news release. There also will be a cash bar and raffle tickets.

The shelter is bringing along pups people can meet, organizers said.

Proceeds from tickets sales will raise money for the animals ALIVE Rescue saves. Participants can buy tickets here.
