LOGAN SQUARE — Logan Square’s Halloween parade is back.

The parade, now in its 17th year, is scheduled for Sunday evening, organizers announced on Facebook.

Costumed families should meet at the Logan Square Monument at 5 p.m. The parade, led by the Chicago marching band Mucca Pazza, will kick off at 5:30 p.m., traveling south along the west side of Kedzie Boulevard to Fullerton Avenue before looping back around to the east side of Kedzie Boulevard.

The parade will end at Lula Cafe, 2537 N. Kedzie Blvd., for complimentary apple cider and cookies.

The neighborhood’s annual Halloween parade, or Desfile de Halloween, was canceled last year because of the pandemic.
