WEST RIDGE — Three vaccination clinics are coming to the Far North Side, offering flu shots and COVID-19 vaccines.
All three events are free and open to the public, though people younger than 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. People planning to attend can register for a time slot, but walk-ins are welcome, as well.
The clinics will offer the Johnson & Johnson and Pfizer vaccines for COVID-19, as well as traditional flu shots and high-dose shots for people 65 and older. Each event is coordinated by the local ward offices and the Chicago Department of Public Health.
Health insurance and a government ID is not required.
The schedule:
- West Ridge: 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday at the Croation Cultural Center, 2845 W. Devon Ave.
- Rogers Park: 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday at the Loyola Park fieldhouse, 1230 W. Greenleaf Ave. Pre-registration is open and can be done here.
- Edgewater: 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Ida Church, 5500 N. Broadway. Pre-registration is open and can be done here.
