Cloudy, Rainy Week Ahead For Chicago — But There Will Be Sun This Weekend

The city will see temperatures in the high 60s to mid-70s all week.

CHICAGO — The city is expected to see plenty of clouds and rain showers this week.

Monday is expected to see scattered showers and cloudy skies, with a high temperature near 69 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

Tuesday will be cloudy, with the day warming up to about 68 degrees.

Wednesday will see some sun, but there’s a chance for rain showers after 1 p.m., and rain is expected overnight, according to the weather agency. Temperatures are expected to hit 71 degrees.

More rain and possibly thunderstorms are expected Thursday, but the day will be partly sunny. The high temperature for the day will be near 72 degrees.

Friday has another chance for showers, particularly in the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. The day will be partly sunny with an expected high temperature of 72 degrees.

Saturday will be mostly sunny, while Sunday will be sunny but with a chance for showers, according to the weather agency. Both days are expected to hit 75 degrees.
