Rain, Cooler Weather Coming To Chicago This Week

There should be some sunshine and warmer weather for the weekend, though.

CHICAGO — Cooler weather and a bit of rain will hit Chicago this week.

Tuesday will start with rain and be mostly cloudy, with temperatures hanging around the mid-60s most of the day, according to the National Weather Service. There could be wind gusts up to 25 mph.

Wednesday has another chance for rain, but the day is expected to be partly sunny and hit 64 degrees. It will be windy, with gusts up to 40 mph possible, according to the weather agency.

Thursday could see rain again, but the skies will be partly sunny. It will be windy again, with gusts up to 30 mph possible. Temperatures are expected reach 64 degrees.

Friday is expected to be sunny and warmer, getting as hot as 73 degrees during the day, according to the National Weather Service.

More rain is possible Saturday, and temperatures will fall slightly, with an expected high of 67 degrees. Sunday will be sunny with a high near 70.
