LAKEVIEW — The Southport Neighbors Association is throwing its first-ever neighborhood yard sale and looking for neighbors to participate.
The yard sale will happen 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 16 and 17. It’s open to anyone within the Southport Neighbors Association’s boundaries, which span from Addison Street to Irving Park Road, and Clark Street to Ashland Avenue.
Participation is free for all association members and $10 for non-members, which includes a Southport Neighbors membership, according to a flyer.
The neighbors group will promote the yard sale with a map of all participating households and provide yard signs to all participants.
Participants must complete the city’s official garage sale application and provide a copy of their utility bill or another proof of residency, according to the association. The deadline is Oct. 4.
More information on how to participate can be found on the Southport Neighbors Association’s website.
