Rain, Strong Wind Expected Tuesday In Chicago — But The Rest Of The Week Looks Sunny

Temperatures in the 70s and 80s are expected all week.

CHICAGO — Sunny, cooler weather is hitting the city this week.

Tuesday is expected to see showers and rain in the afternoon, and it’ll be breezy with wind gusts up to 40 mph possible. The day will be warm, with a high of 88 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

Wednesday will be sunny and slightly cooler, with a high of 78 degrees expected. Thursday will be relatively cloud-free, too, though the high temperature will dip to 73 degrees.

Friday will be sunny and is expected to get as hot as 81 degrees, according to the weather agency.

Saturday has a slight chance for thunderstorms, but the day will be mostly sunny and should hit 86 degrees. Sunday will be mostly sunny with a high of 77 degrees.
