‘Rocky Horror Picture Show’ With Live Performers Coming Sept. 14 To Millennium Park

"The Rocky Horror Picture Show" is beloved for its campy songs and performances. People can watch a screening in the park for free.

CHICAGO — Cult favorite film “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” is coming to Millennium Park next month.

People will be able to watch the movie on a 40-foot screen 6 p.m. Sept. 14 at Pritzker Pavilion, 201 E. Randolph St., according to a city news release. The screening is free.

The movie, a musical horror parody, will be presented with the Music Box Theatre, and there will be a family-friend live performance in front of the screen, according to the city.

“The Rocky Horror Picture Show” is beloved for its campy songs and performances. It’s tradition for people to dress up as characters and sing and dance along with the movie. The city has online information about dos, don’ts and how to make props for the screening.
