CHICAGO — The Blue Angels will perform along the lakefront this weekend as part of a scaled-back, reimagined version of the Air and Water Show.
The Air and Water show has been canceled as the city recovers financially from the coronavirus pandemic.
But the Blue Angels will still hold demonstrations noon-1 p.m. Saturday-Sunday along the lakefront, according to a Mayor’s Office news release. The best place to see the planes will be on the lakefront between Oak Street and Fullerton Avenue.
The pilots will practice 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday.
Viewing the planes is free.
