BRONZEVILLE — Two Fish Crab Shack is celebrating its reopening with a free shrimp giveaway Friday.
The giveaway starts at 1 p.m. and will continue until supplies last. The offer is good for dine-in customers only.
The popular seafood restaurant at 641 E. 47th St. which celebrated its fifth anniversary in May, was closed for remodeling. Earlier this year, owner Yasmin Curtis landed a deal with Mariano’s to sell frozen meal kits and sauces in 125 stores across the city and state.
Friday’s event is being sponsored by PepsiCo as part of their “Racial Equality Journey” initiative, for which the soft drink giant has dedicated nearly $600 million to support Black and Brown businesses and communities across the country. PepsiCo is also donating $15,000 to Polished Pebbles, a nonprofit that prepares young girls and women of color for the workplace.
