CHICAGO — Kids on the South and West sides can relax with free food, music and fun activities during events Friday night.
On the South Side, Lost Boyz Inc. is hosting an event where kids, teens and their families can get free school supplies, food and drinks at Rosenblum Park, 7547 S. Euclid Ave., according to a Mayor’s Office news release. There will also be music and water games.
On the West Side, Breakthrough is hosting an event with a smoothie bar, DJ, esports and other activities for children and their families at St. Louis Park, 339 N. St. Louis Ave.
Both events start 6 p.m. Friday. They are free.
The events are part of Chicago’s Summer Kickback Series, which looks to create safe, fun spaces for youths.
