ALBANY PARK — Neighbors can support more than 40 small businesses as part of the Flavors of Albany Park restaurant crawl this month.
The event organized by the North River Commission begins 5 p.m. Aug. 26 and features three walking routes to showcase local restaurants, which will offer a sample of their food, a sweet treat or a unique drink to attendees. The meeting point for all the routes is Noon-O-Kabab, 4701 N. Kedzie Ave., which will give out the first samples.
Flavors of Albany Park is an outdoor event, but its organizers encourage people to bring masks in case they are waiting in a short line or stepping inside a restaurant to pick up their food and drink. The event will go on rain or shine.
Tickets are $32.54, student and senior tickets are $27.28, and tickets for children younger than 12 accompanied by an adult are $13.63. To purchase tickets, click here.
