LAKEVIEW — Popular grilled cheese restaurant Cheesie’s Pub & Grill is rolling out a weekend brunch menu complete with Bloody Marys and bottomless mimosas.
Cheesie’s, 958 W. Belmont Ave. in Lakeview and 1365 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Wicker Park, will offer the brunch items 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, according to a news release.
The menu features five new breakfast options, including:
- The Full Monty, served on French toast with melty cheddar cheese, sweet strawberry preserves and grilled ham.
- The Wakey Wakey, which includes crispy bacon, melty cheddar cheese, American cheese, two eggs and buttery Texas toast.
- The Gladys, which includes smoked gouda cheese, crispy bacon, fried chicken tenders, honey mustard and Belgian waffles.
Customers can order their meals with a side of bacon, sausage links or crispy hash browns, according to Cheesie’s.
For drink options, customers can choose from bottomless mimosas, Bloody Marys or Miller Lite draft beer for $25.
Cheesie’s signature Bloody Marys are made with a house mix and an “outrageous mess of delicious toppings,” such as the classic celery stick, hot pepper and olive, a slice of bacon, a jalapeño popper, fried cheese curd and a piece of a grilled cheese sandwich.
