Ravenswood Manor Garden Walk Returns Sunday, Marking 65 Years Of Green Spaces ‘By Neighbors And For Neighbors’

The neighborhood event has its roots as the Manor Lawn and Garden Club Contest, which was first held in 1957.

RAVENSWOOD MANOR — Ravenswood Manor neighbors will be showing off their gardening skills at this Sunday’s garden walk.

The free event begins at 1 p.m., July 25. Maps of the walk will be available at the pergola in Manor Park, 4626 N. Manor Ave.

The neighborhood garden walk has its roots as the Manor Lawn and Garden Club Contest which was first held in 1957. Now in its 65th year, the event is a “by neighbors and for neighbors” garden walk that features a wide variety of gardens throughout historic Ravenswood Manor.
