THE LOOP — This weekend’s Sundays on State will feature more than 80 booths, performances and activities on State Street between Lake Street and Madison Avenue.
This weekend’s event is free and runs 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Performers range from DJ sets to a brass ensemble, including Moz Definite, Turn Up the Volume and The Corner Cabaret.
There will also be more than a dozen retail vendors; live mural painting; fitness, dance and yoga classes; and more. Vendors — including Harold’s Chicken, The Walnut Room and Heritage Bikes and Coffee — will serve food and drinks.
Registering online for Sundays on State will automatically enter attendees into a drawing for a $1,000 Loop staycation package.
Sundays on State are always free. More information can be found on the Chicago Loop Alliance website.
The summer series launched last weekend and will continue Sundays this summer through Sept. 12, excluding Aug. 1 and 15.
