PILSEN — A market highlighting local vendors is coming every Sunday to Pilsen’s Dvorak Park.

Pilsen Market At the Park kicks off Sunday at 1119 W. Cullerton St. The weekly market aims to bring together community members, local vendors and craft makers from Pilsen while allowing people to enjoy Dvorak Park, said Anabelle Martinez, a Pilsen resident who is the co-founder of the event.

The market will run 4-8 p.m. weekly on Sundays through Sept. 26. It will include a minimum of 20 vendors. The event will be on the Cermak side of the park.

Each week, organizers will donate vendor fees to Pilsen-based nonprofits.

“We really want to highlight small businesses from the community while bringing families together at a perfect place,” Martinez said.
