WEST TOWN — A music and craft beer festival inspired by the Grateful Dead’s version of a Motown hit will return this summer.
The fourth annual Dancing in the Streets festival will bring local bands, food trucks and artisan booths to West Town Aug. 6-8. The festival takes place near the neighborhood’s growing brewery district, along Hubbard Street between Paulina and Wood streets.
The festival is co-organized by the West Town Chamber of Commerce, the Chicago Brewing District and On Tour Brewing. An optional $10 door donation benefits the chamber, The Arts of Life and Chicago Neighbors United.
Festival hours will be 5-10 p.m. Friday and noon-10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Terrapin Flyer and Paradise Waits, among other bands, are scheduled to perform. For more information, including a full lineup, visit the festival’s website and follow the festival on Facebook.
The West Town Chamber of Commerce canceled Do Division Street Fest, which typically takes place the weekend after Memorial Day, and West Fest Chicago, which typically takes place in July.
The chamber is planning the 10th anniversary of the West Town Art Walk in September.
Meanwhile, Wicker Park Fest, organized by the Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce, is full steam ahead for late July.
