HYDE PARK — Stan’s Donuts & Coffee is coming to Hyde Park next week, and one of the first customers to visit will win free doughnuts for life.
The chain’s newest location will open 7 a.m. June 18 at 5225 S. Harper Court, replacing a former Einstein Bros. Bagels. The 2,000-square-foot shop will include outdoor patio space.

The first 100 customers at the Hyde Park location will receive a free doughnut and T-shirt. One of the first 100 doughnuts will be golden, and the person who gets it will win free doughnuts and coffee for life.
Stan’s opened in Chicago in 2014. The Hyde Park location will be the company’s 10th in the city and its first south of Roosevelt Road.
Standard doughnuts, such as glazed and powdered sugar cake, are $1.99 each and $19.99 for a dozen. Specialties, such as maple long johns, are $2.99 each and $29.99 a dozen. Top-of-the-line options, such as lemon espresso Bismarcks, are $3.99 each and $39.99 a dozen.
