LINCOLN SQUARE — The Lincoln Square Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce is asking Chicago high school students with a passion for art to submit designs for this year’s tote bag.

This is the chamber’s first contest and its theme is “Eat Fresh. Eat Local.” The chamber’s guidelines for submissions include having artists include the phrase, “Lincoln Square Farmers Market 2021” in their artwork.

Students are also encouraged to include imagery familiar to the Lincoln Square neighborhood and the Lincoln Square Farmers Market such as fresh fruits, vegetables and flowers.

The winning design will be featured on this year’s tote bags that will be used as giveaways during National Farmers Market Week in August.

All entries must be submitted by 5 p.m. June 30, and the winning design will be announced July 7. Full contest rules and sign up details can be found here.

The artist selected will also win class packages from Lillstreet Art Center and Old Town School of Folk Music.
