LAKEVIEW — A 52-year-old man died Wednesday after crashing his Porsche into another driver and at least four other vehicles in Lakeview, police said.
At about 1:10 p.m. Wednesday, the man struck a Chevrolet and a delivery truck while driving west on Addison Street near Southport Avenue, according to Chicago Police.
The impact of that collision caused the Porsche to slam into a Land Rover and two Hondas. One of the Hondas was parked, police said.
The Porsche’s driver was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center and later pronounced dead, police said. Information on his identity was not immediately available.
Another man was taken to Thorek Memorial Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
Chicago Police’s Major Accident Investigation Unit is investigating the crash.
