NORTH LAWNDALE — After quickly selling out three-day passes, Riot Fest will release single-day tickets noon Friday.
Riot Fest organizers also added another wave of bands to the punk rock and alternative festival planned for Sept. 15-17 at Douglass Park in North Lawndale. The updated lineup includes Dropkick Murphys, Rancid, Machine Gun Kelly, Knuckle Puck and more.
The lineup for each day of the festival was also released earlier Friday.
The opening day of the festival will be headed by the Smashing Pumpkins, along with Coheed and Cambria and Lupe Fiasco.
The Saturday lineup will feature Run the Jewels, Faith No More, Dropkick Murphys and Rancid.
Sunday’s performers will include Pixies, Machine Gun Kelly and Devo. The festival will be closed out by Nine Inch Nails.
Nine Inch Nails was inducted into the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame in 2020. The band previously performed at Riot Fest in 2017, and a survey of festival fans in 2019 ranked the Nine Inch Nails set as the top-ever Riot Fest performance.
The full lineup for the music festival is available on the Riot Fest website.
