LOGAN SQUARE — Police are continuing a months-long search for a driver who hit and seriously injured a man in Logan Square over the winter.
Police released video footage Sunday of the driver from the hit-and-run, which happened about 2:50 p.m. Dec. 6 in the 2000 block of North Kedzie Avenue.
In the incident, the driver of a blue Chevrolet Trailblazer hit a 41-year-old man and then went south on Kedzie Avenue without stopping to help. The man was taken to the hospital, where he suffered serious injuries, police said.
Newly released videos show the Chevrolet Trailblazer and images of the suspected driver talking to another person on the sidewalk.
Police are asking anyone with information about the driver or the car to call the Major Accident Investigation Unit at 312-745-4521. People can also submit tips online anonymously via CPDTip.com.
