WICKER PARK — The 21st annual Wicker Park Farmers Market has an official start date.

Beginning May 16, the market will take place 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Sundays in Wicker Park, 1425 N. Damen Ave.

Like last year, the market will be plastic-free; shoppers should bring their own reusable totes. People must wear masks and social distance at the market.

The Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce still needs volunteers to help on market days. Those interested can sign up online.

The chamber is also looking for sponsors, who will be able to set up tables during the market while using the chamber’s virtual tools to promote their business or group.

Sponsorship opportunities are $500-$1,000. For more information, email Gabriela Perez at or visit the chamber’s website.

A vendor lineup has yet to be announced. Follow the market online or on Instagram for updates.

The 2021 market will end Oct. 31.
