ROGERS PARK — A vaccine clinic will be held at a Rogers Park school Friday, and neighbors can sign up for an appointment now.

The vaccine clinic will take place 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday at Chicago Math and Science Academy, 7212 N. Clark St. The clinic will administer 1,000 first doses of the Moderna vaccine, according to Ald. Maria Hadden (49th), who has coordinated the event with Heartland Health Centers.

Those aged 18 and up are eligible for a vaccine appointment at the event. Priority will be given to 49th Ward and Rogers Park residents, Hadden said.

Pre-registration is required for the event, as walk-ups will not be allowed. To register for the clinic, fill out the form by clicking here.

Multilingual support will be offered on site, and masks will be required for those that attend. Insurance is not required to receive a vaccine.

The clinic Friday will be first first doses only. A follow-up appointment for the second dose will be made during the first appointment.
