WEST TOWN — Volunteers can help clean up West Town as part of Earth Day this weekend.
Ald. Daniel La Spata (1st) and the Chicago Grand Neighborhood Association are hosting the event, which starts 10 a.m. Saturday outside Talcott Elementary School, 1840 W. Ohio St. Volunteers will clean areas within the Ashland-Damen-Grand-Chicago boundary.
Rakes, gloves, bags and masks will be provided. Ukrainian Village restaurant TaKorea Cocina will serve a light lunch afterward.

This clean-up is separate from another neighborhood clean-up also taking place Saturday in nearby East Ukrainian Village.
