OLD TOWN — The Old Town Merchants and Residents Association is looking for volunteers to help with its spring cleaning efforts this month.

The local business chamber is partnering with Lincoln Park Community Services, Declan’s Irish Pub and Orso’s Italian Restaurant for a neighborhood beautification and cleanup day starting 10 a.m. April 24. Volunteers can sign up on the association’s website.

Trash bags and gloves will be provided the day of, and all participants are required to wear masks, organizers said.

After the cleanup, Orso’s, 1401 N. Wells St., will offer volunteers a free meal of either bruschetta panini with fries, penne pasta with vodka sauce or a caesar salad with chicken.
