SOUTH DEERING — Any adults in several Far South Side neighborhoods can get vaccinated against coronavirus at a new site.
Howard Brown Health is running a COVID-19 vaccination site at Trumbull Park as part of the Protect Chicago Plus program. Adult residents of South Deering, Calumet Heights, Jeffrey Manor and Vets Park and eligible for appointments.
The site, 2400 E. 105th St., will offer first-dose appointments Thursdays and Saturdays through April 17. No identification or proof of insurance is required, and no walk-ins will be accepted. People will be scheduled for their second dose at Trumbull Park when they receive their first shot.
Residents 18 and older can sign up for an appointment on the Howard Brown site or by calling 872-269-3600.
