UPTOWN — Neighbors can test their knowledge of Uptown, and win prizes from local businesses, at the chamber’s upcoming trivia night.
The Uptown Chamber of Commerce is hosting its first Uptown Trivia Night 8-9:30 p.m. Thursday. The virtual event will feature questions about Uptown and its history. Proceeds will benefit the local business community.
Questions posted on marketing material around the neighborhood include: How many seats are in the Uptown Theatre and how did the Aragon Ballroom get its name?
Neighbors can sign up for teams of up of to six people. Individuals can sign up, as well, and will have the option to request to be assigned a team.
Individual tickets cost $10 and a team ticket cost $50. An individual can buy themselves a ticket and email Greg Carroll at firstname.lastname@example.org to say which team they would like to be assigned to.
A Zoom web conference link will be emailed with the ticket.
