CHICAGO — Lots of sun is coming to Chicago this week.
Monday marks the first day of meteorological spring — and with it is coming the mixed-up weather that characterizes the season. There will be a chance for snow flurries during the morning, and the day will start mostly cloudy but will gradually become sunnier, according to the National Weather Service. It will windy, with gusts as high as 20 mph, and it will get as warm as 33 degrees.
The rest of the week is looking warmer and sunnier, though. Tuesday will be sunny with an expected high temperature of 43 degrees. Wind gusts could get as high as 30 mph.
Wednesday and Thursday will be mostly sunny with high temperatures in the high 30s to low 40s.
Friday will be sunny with an expected high temperature of 40 degrees, and Saturday will be sunny with a high of 39, according to the weather agency.
Sunday will be the warmest day of the week, with an expected high temperature of 47 degrees, according to the weather agency. The day will be mostly sunny.
