ROGERS PARK — Looking for a perfect Valentine’s Day gift for your significant other? If you buy it from a Rogers Park small business, you could win up to $1,000 to spend at local shops.
The Rogers Park Business Alliance has launched the Shop Where Your Heart Is campaign, during which the group will raffle weekly cash prizes and one grand prize for people who shop locally through February.
Those who spend $25 or more at a Rogers Park independently-owned business this month are eligible for the raffle. The business alliance will raffle off three prizes each week for people who enter, plus one grand prize of $1,000 to spend at local grocery stores.
The first-place winner in the weekly raffle will win two $50 gift cards to Rogers Park restaurants of their choosing, according to the business alliance. Second place will get one $50 gift card and third place a $25 gift card.
At the end of the month, the $1,000 grand prize will be raffled.
Each submission of a $25 or greater receipt counts as one entry into the raffle, and there is no limit to the number of eligible receipts that can be submitted. All participants will be eligible for the grand prize raffle.
Customers can submit their receipts by clicking here, or they can be dropped off at the Rogers Park Business Alliance office at 1448 W. Morse Ave.
Businesses that are independently owned and located within Rogers Park’s official boundaries qualify for the campaign. A map of the neighborhood boundaries can be found here.
Winners of the raffles will be picked on Wednesdays and will be contacted personally and announced in the business alliance’s weekly newsletter. For more information, click here.
