PILSEN — Two men were wounded in separate shootings over the weekend in Pilsen.
At 9:10 p.m. Saturday, a 50-year-old man was in the 1700 block of South Paulina Street when he was shot in his right shoulder, police siad.
The man was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition, police said. The man was not thought to have been the intended target of the shooting.
At 10:40 p.m. Friday, a 29-year-old man was sitting in a parked car in the 2100 block of South Allport Street when someone in a van fired shots, police said.
The man was shot in his left shoulder and his head was grazed by a bullet. He was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, police said.
No one was in custody in either shooting and police are investigating.
