Here’s How You Can Buy A Meal For A Family In Need From Wicker Park’s Ina Mae Tavern

Money must be donated by the end of Sunday. Meals will be delivered Dec. 23.

WICKER PARK — Leaders in Wicker Park are organizing a meal drive that will feed families in need while supporting a family-owned restaurant.

The Wicker Park Committee is collecting donations to pay for meal packages made by Ina Mae Tavern, 1415 N. Wood St. One meal costs $20.

Donations can be made via PayPal. Money must be donated by the end of Sunday. Meals will be delivered Dec. 23.

Leftover funds will go toward health care workers at AMITA Health Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center Chicago.

The Wicker Park Committee is a neighborhood association that plans local events and routinely weighs in on matters of public importance. Learn more about the organization here.

Co-owned by chef Brian Jupiter, Ina Mae Tavern is one of Wicker Park’s few Black-owned businesses.
