Lots Of Clouds, Chilly Temperatures Coming To Chicago This Week

It'll only get as warm as 42 degrees this week — and that's not until Friday.

CHICAGO — It’ll be a cloudy, chilly week for Chicago.

Monday will be mostly cloudy, though more sun will come out as the day goes on, according to the National Weather Service. But get out a good coat: It’ll only get as warm as 31 degrees, and there will be wind gusts up to 25 mph.

The rest of the week will see more of the same, though it will get gradually warmer.

Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with a high of 33 degrees and winds of 5-10 mph.

Wednesday will be mostly cloudy, but it will be slightly warmer with an expected high temperature of 36 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. There will be wind gusts up to 15 mph.

Thursday will be partly sunny, and the high temperature could hit 38 degrees.

Friday is expected to be the warmest day of the week, with a high temperature of 42 degrees. It will be partly sunny, according to the weather agency.

Saturday will be mostly cloudy again with a high of 41, and Sunday will see the same high temperature but will be partly sunny.
