LAKEVIEW — LGBTQ performance group Lakeside Pride’s annual show is going virtual Saturday with a free, livestreamed concert from its music ensemble.
Lakeside Pride’s “8-Bit Wonderland” will stream live on the nonprofit group’s Facebook page 7–8:30 p.m. and showcase the ensemble’s members through a series of live performances and recordings of previous holiday shows.
Music will feature everything from Bach and Bernstein to the Muppets and holiday classic “Sleigh Ride,” according to Lakeside Pride.
Viewers are encouraged to participate by posting photos in their ugliest holiday sweaters to compete in the show’s ugly sweater contest. The show is free to watch.
