CHINATOWN — Free coronavirus testing will be available for Chinatown, Pilsen and Bronzeville residents this weekend at Ping Tom Memorial Park. 

Coronavirus testing is 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday at Ping Tom Memorial Park, 300 W. 19th St. The testing site will be situated on the southern end of the park by the river.

Spanish, Mandarin and Cantonese translation will be available. 

No insurance or appointment is required. The test results will be provided by phone four to seven days after the test has been conducted.

Community group People Matter is hosting the event in partnership with the Illinois Department of Public Health.

Another testing event is scheduled at the same location the following Saturday, Dec. 5.
