WICKER PARK — Typically held indoors at a neighboring restaurant or business, the wintertime Wicker Park Farmers Market is shifting online due to coronavirus.
Starting this week, the winter market is accessible through the What’s Good app and website. Customers can place orders beginning 8 a.m. Monday through midnight Friday. Contactless pick-ups are available 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Sundays.
First-time customers can use the code “NOV50” for 50 percent off their first order.
Pickups will be behind the Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce office, 1414 N. Ashland Ave.
Each customer will be given a designated one-hour window to pick up their orders, with more detailed instructions sent out with every order placed. Delivery options will be offered in the near future.
Orders will be packaged in a sanitized environment in which market staff will wear gloves and masks at all times.
The market is scheduled to run through April. Participating vendors will continue being plastic-free.
The market’s current vendor lineup includes Fehr Bros., Having Fons, Jacobson Family Farm, Joe’s Blues, Le Master Family Kitchen, Letizia’s Natural Bakery, Nutmeg’s Spreads, Sfera Sicilian Street Food, Soap Junkii, Tamales Express, Tomato Bliss, Tinyshop Grocer, Tortello and Westside Bee Boyz.
For the latest updates on vendors, visit the market’s website or follow the market on Instagram and Facebook.
